Spaulted Rorschach

I cut some thin verniers of spaulted maple to adorn the experimental acoustic guitar I'm working on, one for the headstock, another for the soundhole rosette.

They are so soft, they have to be stabilized with low viscosity epoxy that soaked them like a sponge.
