I'm taking influence from Trevor Gores bolt on neck strategy for my guitars. It makes a ton of sense to me from a construction point of view. It requires strength and precision and is the connection between the body and neck, the two major sub assemblies of the instrument and I've not used this approach before so it makes sense to start here before continuing.
